This sub-session addresses the design, planning, and optimization of mining systems throughout the mine life cycle. It covers strategic and operational mine planning, production scheduling, mine design methodologies, resource allocation, and decision-support systems.
Contributions are encouraged on integrated mine planning, production forecasting, operational optimization, and the application of advanced modeling tools to improve mining performance and economic outcomes.
