Session Scope

This session focuses on integrating mining engineering, mineral processing technologies, and economic evaluation in the context of sustainable development. As the global mining industry undergoes rapid transformation driven by digitalization, environmental constraints, and evolving economic conditions, there is a growing need to bridge technological innovation with economic feasibility and policy frameworks.
The session aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to present and discuss advancements in mining technologies, mineral processing methods, engineering solutions, and investment analysis. Particular emphasis will be placed on the application of automation, artificial intelligence, and data-driven approaches in mining operations, as well as environmentally responsible and resource-efficient processing techniques.
In addition, the session will address the economic dimension of mining, including project evaluation, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks, highlighting their role in ensuring long-term sustainability and competitiveness. The session will also encourage discussions on the interconnection between technological innovation and economic decision-making, particularly in emerging and resource-dependent economies.
