D4 — Smart Mining, Automation, and Integrated Operational Systems
(Digital transformation and intelligent mining operations)

This sub-session focuses on the digital transformation of mining through automation, intelligent systems, and integrated operational technologies. It explores the application of artificial intelligence, industrial IoT, autonomous equipment, robotics, real-time monitoring systems, and digital platforms that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

The sub-session welcomes studies that demonstrate how smart technologies can enhance productivity, safety, and sustainability in modern mining operations.
