Sub-session description

Academic Scope

This sub-session focuses on the acquisition, integration, and management of geospatial data from a wide range of Earth observation and spatial sensing technologies. As advances in satellite systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and sensor technologies continue to transform geospatial science, the availability of high-resolution spatial data has significantly expanded opportunities for environmental monitoring, resource assessment, and spatial analysis.
The sub-session welcomes contributions related to remote sensing, Earth observation systems, UAV photogrammetry, LiDAR applications, and multi-source geospatial data integration. Studies addressing innovative data acquisition techniques, sensor calibration, data quality assessment, and spatial data management are particularly encouraged.
The session aims to advance knowledge and practical applications of modern geospatial sensing technologies that support scientific research, environmental monitoring, and sustainable resource management.
