Academic Scope
This sub-session focuses on the management, processing, and utilization of large-scale geospatial datasets through modern digital infrastructures and interoperable platforms. As geospatial data volumes continue to grow, scalable systems and robust data architectures have become essential for effective storage, analysis, and information sharing.
The sub-session welcomes contributions addressing cloud-based geospatial infrastructures, spatial data infrastructures (SDI), interoperability standards, distributed computing, and large-scale geospatial data management. Research on data governance, metadata standards, and integrated geospatial platforms is particularly encouraged.
The session aims to support the development of sustainable and interoperable geospatial ecosystems that facilitate collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
