Sub-session description

Academic Scope

This sub-session focuses on the infrastructure systems that support the transportation, storage, and distribution of oil, gas, and energy resources. Efficient midstream systems play a critical role in ensuring energy security, operational reliability, and sustainable supply chain management.
The sub-session welcomes contributions related to pipeline engineering, transportation systems, LNG infrastructure, storage technologies, and integrated distribution networks. Research addressing infrastructure planning, system reliability, operational safety, logistics optimization, and asset management is particularly encouraged.
The session also highlights emerging approaches to improving energy transport efficiency, enhancing storage capabilities, and integrating modern technologies into energy infrastructure.
